LACC is thrilled to
announce the conclusion of another SUCCESSFUL
POINSETTIA CAMPAIGN!
Thanks to the hard work of its choristers, their
families, the Board of Directors, and with the support of area
businesses, LACC raised more than $55,000 to benefit its outstanding
artistic and education program. This represents almost 25% more
than the campaign's $45,000 goal! We are in awe of your amazing
efforts!
Congratulations and THANK YOU to
all who purchased or sold a poinsettia, donated a plant to Meals on
Wheels, or generously made a contribution to the fundraiser.
Plants will be available for pick-up or delivery on
November 28-29, so mark your calendars to receive
your beautiful holiday plants and start the holidays off with a
floral flourish!
Have a lovely, poinsettia-filled holiday!

LACC Realizes a Matching Grant from the Colburn
Foundation
Los Angeles Children's Chorus was awarded a generous
matching grant opportunity from the Los Angeles-based Colburn
Foundation through its Individual Giving Initiative, which was
designed to help nonprofits increase their individual donor bases
through new or increased giving.
LACC is delighted to report that it has met
its matching goal and will realize the full value
of the Colburn Foundation's $5,000 grant!
We wish to thank the Colburn Foundation and
the generous community of friends
who have made this important grant possible for LACC.
In the spirit of the intent of the Colburn Foundation's
initiative, we will strive to merit your continued generosity in
support of LACC's high quality program of music education for
children.
The Individual Giving Initiative was developed by the
Colburn Foundation in conjunction with the Cultivate/Create
Initiative of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, supported by
the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the National
Endowment for the Arts.

Grove featured the Apprentice Choir and Chamber Singers, and the
Westminster Gardens concert featured the Intermediate Choir.
Community Connections Concerts
are free public concerts presented in accessible community venues
throughout the season. Watch future issues of Accents for
upcoming concerts!
