A Rare Matching Grant Opportunity
for LACC!
The Colburn Foundation will match new or increased gifts
to LACC received by November 30, 2011, up to $5,000!
There has never been a better time to make a first gift
to LACC, as the Colburn Foundation will match it,
doubling the impact of your gift.
If you already support the Chorus, any increase in your
recent past giving to LACC will qualify for the match. For instance,
if you gave $10 last year and $20 this year, $10 of your gift will be
matched.
You can make an important difference in the lives of
young people from all over Los
Angeles who have found a nurturing musical
home at LACC.
At LACC we learn discipline, hard work and dedication.
We gain the best of friends and are able to share in some of the most
amazing experiences. -LACC chorister

LACC in Philip Glass' Powaqqatsi
Los Angeles Children's
Chorus performed Powaqqatsi with
the Philip Glass Ensemble on August 30th at the Hollywood Bowl and
received a wonderful review!
"The L.A. Children's Chorus made the biggest
impression, their massed voices were thrilling from the first moments
of the evening when they began the national anthem a cappella."
