Every once in a while I have an arts experience that catches me by surprise and reminds me about the power and beauty of the arts.... Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, wraps its 25th Anniversary Season with a special edition of its annual Spring Concert that pays tribute to children who have been part of the Chorus over the past 25 years on May 14, 2011 at 7 P.M. at Ambassador Auditorium. The concert features performances by all six LACC choirs, an Alumni Chorus conducted by LACC’s Founding Director Rebecca Thompson and LACC Alumna Allison White, the world premiere of a new work by LACC Alumna Caroline Park, and a special appearance by the Calder Quarter... Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, considered one of the nation’s leading children’s choirs, is holding auditions for boys and girls ages eight (by September 1, 2011) to twelve on, June 2, 3 and 4, 2011, in Pasadena.
