Now in its 23nd season, LACC is reaching new heights of artistic excellence and organizational growth. Such growth requires considerable resources. Each year LACC conducts a fundraising campaign to fill the gap between total annual expenses and the revenue realized from tuition, ticket sales, performance fees, and other sources of earned income.

During its 2008|2008 Season, LACC must raise 49% of its $1.1 million budget — that’s $536,500 to be realized from individuals, foundations, corporations and government agencies in support of LACC’s important programs and services.

LACC raises this critical revenue in a number of ways from a number of different sources. Our annual efforts include:

• Many employers sponsor Matching Gift Programs and will match the charitable contributions of their employees. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or their spouses. Check with your employer today to see if it offers a matching gifts program, and if so, take advantage of it! Click here to see a list of companies that offer matching programs. If you do not see your employer on the list, please check with your employer directly — and if your family and friends support LACC, ask them to do the same! You can MULTIPLY THE VALUE OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION by applying for a matching gift. It’s easy… it’s free… and it enables your employer to contribute in a meaningful way to your favorite charities!

• Amazon.com: Support the Chorus by using this link for your Amazon.com orders. LACC earns 4% when you use this link to start your visit to Amazon.

• The annual Poinsettia Campaign, raises significant funds through the sale of holiday flowers to family, friends, and the community. Since the first “Poinsettia Campaign” in 1995, this eagerly anticipated event, which takes place every October-November, has become a much-loved tradition at LACC because it give everyone — from board and staff members to choristers and their families — an opportunity to help raise funds while raising holiday spirit! It also presents the community with a festive, seasonal opportunity to support LACC. Check back in Fall 2009 for more information about the 2009 Poinsettia Campaign.
  

• Scrip Programs are a quick and easy way to support LACC by purchasing items you already use every day! Through partner scrip programs, LACC receives a donation each time you shop. LACC is registered with two different scrip programs: eScrip and Schoolpop. The LACC group ID number for eScrip of 5637895 and for Schoolpop it is 0630115. Each signup lasts for one year. If you have not already done so, register (or renew) today.

• Ticket sales to LACC’s self-produced concerts and events and the sale of LACC-related merchandise, including CDs, clothing, and other unique items.
